Luminous Flux

Luminous flux is the quantity of the energy of the visible light emitted per second in all directions. The visible light refer to the light within the wavelength range of approximately 390 nanometer s (nm) to 770 nm. For the reason that human eye does not respond equally to all visible wavelengths, luminous flux is a weighted average of the Radiant Flux. The standard unit of luminous flux is the lumen (lm).
