Luminaire efficiency refers to the ratio of the light emitted by the luminaire to the light emitted by the enclosed lamps.
The luminaire efficiency of the common light fixtures are as follows:
Conventional Spotlights | 40%-55% |
Conventional Floodlights | 55%-70% |
Fluorescent | 40%-55% |
LED fixtures | 85%-90% |
